A Deep Respect for Service

The owner of Wizard's Automotive & RV is a veteran.

To every active-duty service member. To every family who has carried the weight of service alongside them — we begin with gratitude. Military service shapes lives in lasting ways: discipline, responsibility, courage, resilience — while carrying challenges that can be difficult to articulate once service ends. We do not view these experiences as distant or theoretical. They are real, personal, and deserving of respect. That understanding lies at the heart of our work.

Continuing the Mission

Founded as a nonprofit.

The Veteran Experience was created to serve veterans not as problems to be fixed, but as people to be understood. It began by offering six-day immersive forums for those navigating post-traumatic stress, moral injury, and the transition from military to civilian life.

Guided by a curriculum shaped by years of clinical work with veterans at the VA — trauma, identity, responsibility, personal agency, the Hero's Journey, the Responsibility Matrix — the forums combined structured teaching with participant-led fireside conversations. Vets shared stories, coping tools, and often discovered they were not alone.

Listening Leads to Action

One challenge kept surfacing: reliable transportation.

Emotional and psychological support is essential — but practical barriers can undermine even the strongest personal progress. A dependable vehicle is the difference between stability and hardship: employment, medical care, family responsibilities, civilian life. Without it, even motivated veterans get stuck. This realization led to the next evolution of The Veteran Experience.

Cars for Vets · The Program

Turning care into mobility.

Cars for Vets was created to address this need directly. Through this initiative, we acquire used vehicles that need mechanical work, restore them thoroughly, service them professionally, and detail them carefully — ensuring each vehicle is safe, reliable, and ready to support a new chapter of life. These vehicles are then gifted to veterans in need, at no cost.

The Role of Wizard's

The shop behind the mission.

Wizard's Automotive & RV brings Cars for Vets to life with the expertise, facilities, and craftsmanship needed to restore donated vehicles to dependable condition. Whether we're servicing a customer's car or rebuilding a vehicle for a veteran, we hold the same standard — because trust is earned through consistency, transparency, and care.

A Humble Note on Support

Two ways to give.

Financial contributions keep the program running. Vehicle donations — even ones that need work — become someone's fresh start after we restore them. Every contribution creates meaningful impact. There is no expectation or pressure to give, only sincere gratitude for those who feel called to help.

Looking Ahead

We will continue to serve with integrity, compassion, and purpose — whether through thoughtful conversation around a fire, meticulous work under a hood, or a set of keys placed in a veteran's hand.

Thank you to those who served — and continue to serve — our country.
